Immerse Yourself in the Art at Annelies Gallery

I’m humbled that I was brought up with some extraordinary stories about my ancestors and realize not everyone knows their heritage. What do you know about your ancestors? Who influenced you most and why? What wisdom would they give you today?

Pictures passed down, tended well along the way let me know of my ancestor's  bravery, intellect and creativity. As we all face uncertain times, I was curious about bringing their vitality into my world.

So I breathed life into one of my  favorite characters of my past, my great grandmother Nina Freiworth Lützow, daughter of famous painter Oskar Freiworth Lützow.

Nina was a passionate dedicated opera singer. Photos of her in costume always mesmerized me. Having also pursued a theater career myself for two decades, I wanted to honor my great grandmother and keep her essence close, so I put her on a dress.  

As a result... I am thrilled to share a new idea with you. As a coach, my role is to help you bridge what was to what’s next. As an artist, I serve as a conduit helping you do so creatively, almost magically. 

Often what keeps people stuck is grief, letting go of what was so that they can re-imagine what’s next. To deepen one’s coaching experience with me, I am offering Ancestor sessions that can help you let go and be empowered by those who have carved the way for you to be here today. 

Your passed grandparents, aunts and uncles, parents and even children still walk with you but in another way, through stories, and now can be artfully a part of your life today.

FRACTAL WRAPS are colorful abstract dresses based on Annelies' Fractal Touchable Series. Annelies uses only primary colors, white and her own hands to create her highly textured abstract paintings. This series is unique as it's ONLY PAINTED LIVE and are encouraged to be touched when dry.  

There are 9 complete works in the Fractal Touchable Series as paintings with two new works as of 2020. One being artful facemasks launched February in response to covid19 and now this beautiful wrap dress based on Connected #1 (6) titled Everything is Connected. 

Embedded among  each canvas are what Annelies calls "Fractal DNA" -- tiny fractals  of her previous paintings. This means each work of art is an extension of the prior work. Her vision is to leverage art  as both visually pleasing and an inspirational teaching tool. The main lesson being ONENESS.

Through her art Annelies invites you to become an  participant of artful thinking. Annelies invites radical creativity by asking  the observer to literally get "in-touch" with their own artist through high-sensory experiences.
